Terms of Use
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and WORKINGORDER LLC ("we", "us"), Brooklyn, New York, the maker of the PawCast app. By using PawCast you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use PawCast
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Subscription and free trial
- PawCast needs a subscription. You can pay yearly or monthly. The app shows the price before you buy.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Otherwise, the subscription starts when the trial ends.
- Your Apple or Google account pays for the subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- To cancel, use your phone's subscription settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Apple or Google handles refunds under their own policies. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- If we change the price, Apple or Google will tell you before the new price applies, as their rules require.
Your pet's photo
Only upload photos you took or have permission to use. You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store your photos and use them to run PawCast: checking them, describing your pet, and making pictures and captions. That permission ends when your data is deleted.
Photos must show a real animal and must not contain anything harmful, explicit or illegal. The app may refuse a photo that doesn't meet these rules.
The pictures and captions
PawCast's pictures and captions are made by AI from your pet's photo and the weather. They won't always look exactly like your pet or match the weather perfectly. You may use the pictures and captions for any personal, non-commercial purpose, such as saving them or sharing them with friends.
To keep the app affordable, there's a limit on how many new pictures are made for each account in any 30 days. If you reach it, the app shows pictures it has already made for you until new ones can be made again.
Weather information
Weather comes from OpenWeather and is provided for general information only. It may be late or wrong. Don't rely on PawCast for safety decisions. For severe weather, follow official warnings from your local weather service.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse PawCast. That means you may not:
- try to get around the subscription or the picture limit
- interfere with the app or our servers, or access them by automated means
- reverse-engineer the app
- use the app to break the law or another person's rights
We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.
Our app
PawCast, including its design, code, scenes and name, belongs to WORKINGORDER LLC. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app. They don't give you ownership of it.
Changes and availability
We may change or improve PawCast, and we may stop offering it. If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app. If you keep using PawCast after a change, you accept the new terms.
No warranty
PawCast is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise the app will always work, be error-free or keep your data forever.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, WORKINGORDER LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of PawCast. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for PawCast in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for PawCast or its content. If you downloaded PawCast from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, apart from its rules about which law applies. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally.
